Customized double-layer crawler model for ore sorting, equipped with secondary re-inspection to significantly reduce false rejection rate and improve yield. Adopting AI-powered high-resolution RGB visible light imaging and high-performance pneumatic ejector valves, it distinguishes minerals and rejects waste rock efficiently through surface feature analysis. Leveraging deep learning, it continuously optimizes the detection accuracy of surface features to realize ore pre-concentration and grade improvement.
Mining operations face a unique sorting challenge: valuable minerals are often embedded in massive waste rock. Industrial minerals and light-colored metal ores frequently exist in low-grade deposits. Traditional mineral processing methods require high-energy crushing, grinding and beneficiation of materials dominated by lean ore. For global mining enterprises, the ability to efficiently identify and reject waste rock in the early stage of the process, based on inherent visual characteristics of materials rather than costly laboratory chemical analysis, is the key to ore pre-concentration, reduction of downstream processing costs and extension of the economic life of marginal deposits.
The HDF Series is a tailor-made machine vision intelligent sorting system. It adopts high-resolution RGB (HR-RGB) visible light imaging and self-developed AI algorithms to perform real-time scanning and surface feature analysis on primary crushed ore. Combined with a high-performance pneumatic ejection device, it efficiently identifies and separates valuable minerals from waste rock within milliseconds based on differences in surface features.
Supported by AI-powered surface feature recognition algorithms, the system can conduct deep learning training using real production data to continuously optimize machine vision detection accuracy. This means the equipment performance is not fixed upon factory delivery. Instead, it keeps adjusting and improving with the accumulation of production data. With stable and reliable sorting performance, it provides a cost-effective entry-level sorting solution for small and medium-sized mines, helping them substantially boost ore recovery rate and reduce waste rock handling volume.
